She was the daughter of Mr. Ereneo Quizon and Fidela Quizon. She was born September 14, 1961. She is a blessing to her parents. She started schooling when she was five years old at Lingabo Elementary School. When she graduated from elementary, she went to Saint Michael High School. And before she entered college, to be a flight attendant or a lawyer is what she wanted to be, but unfortunately it happened that she had no choice but to take up education. Mrs. Buenafe became a scholar at San Isidro College. And as the time that she’s studying in college she had to stay in a dorm. To live by herself far from her family. She is really a hardworking and very dedicated to finish the course.
Year 1981, the most awaited event in her life, it was one of her big day. She graduated college. And at the same year she took the Licensure Examination for Teachers at Cagayan de Oro City. She also said frankly that she did not value much the Let exam because at that time, passing the exam is not a requirement for applying as a teacher. But when the result came, she fortunately passed it. And when she got the result she just inserted it at their wall.
She entered Saint Michael High School and taught third year and fourth year students. Next in San Isidro College, where she graduated.
February 27, 1987, is the most romantic day of her life. She got married. And now she has four siblings. They are blessed with two boys and two girls.
Currently, Mrs. Buenafe is a teacher at General Ricardo Papa Memorial High School. She is an English and Values Education teacher. She is also a part-timer professor in Fisher Valley College. Many of her co-teachers encourage her to be a Guidance Counselor. Last year, she took the qualifying exam for principals. And gladly, she passed it. She is now taking her Doctoral Degree at University of Asian Pacific. She is aiming to finish her Doctoral Degree.
Mrs. Buenafe can easily cope up with any situation. She is flexible, somehow creative. She really has a passion in teaching. For her , teaching is not a hard thing to do, she loves to teach and she enjoys it very much. She is very passionate that’s why it makes her one of the very best professor and teacher.
